Schindler's List- Check
This movie was absolutely amazing. Of course my husband had already seen it and teared up at the end. It was overwhelming to think how much that man did yet still felt like he did not do enough. The best part about that movie- it was all true.
Womanizing, self-promoting, bull-headed man.
I would have looked at Oskar Schindler in his day and thought he was a sexist pig. I think that he wanted to keep that image too. This movie made me look deeper at a thought that I have been considering for a long time- the thought that everyone has good inside of them, but whether or not they choose to embrace that good is the question. Even after saving more than a thousand jewish people, he broke down and felt that he didn't do everything that he could have. If he could have only just saved one more person... He was an unlikely hero.
Schindler's List- Five out of Five Stars for being inspiring, true, heart warming but at the same time heart breaking.
