It is spring!

It is spring

and that means it is time for a better attitude.

This morning I did not wake up with a smile.

Our place is a mess

I had to go into the office even though I'm on break.

The cat slept in the bed therefore my nose was stuffy.

But then I walked outside

and felt the warm air.

And took a moment to think

this isn't so bad. 

Today I'm going to clean the house 

with lemon pine sol.

I'm going to open all the windows

and blast The Beatles White Album,

and I'm going to do it all with a smile,

Because it's spring!
