Oh I wish

Oh how I wish that I could make money

by having fun.

I wish that coffee was free. 

I wish that people traded goods for goods

instead of money.

Oh how I wish that everyone could see

that life is a gift.

I wish that family always came first

and that people always found me 

to lean on.

Oh how I wish that I was a size smaller

and that my smile was a size bigger.

I wish that there were more positive thinking people

and lovers

and people who share hope.

Oh how I wish that I didn't have to wish

that the world was kinder.

I wish that I could live in a place where 

I don't want so much. 

For now, these are a few things that I wish for...

A vintage dress that will definitely catch my honey's eye

A pile of buttons for all of my embellishing needs

A lesson on fabric flowers. 

A few simple wishes that aren't all too hard to make into reality.

Perhaps the world needs to take time

to state these tiny hopes
